LINE ACROSS THE LANDSCAPE

you are cordially invited to view out new show to be held at Hornsby
commencing 7 may to 19 may inclusive

Wallarobba house is a lovely old house which is now the venue
for Hornsby Art Society and the Hornsby Council Cultural office

Access to the house is only from David Edgeworth Road
and located behind a children's playground
daylight viewing hours are 10am  to 4pm

Barbara and I have been painting together on a weekly basis for
quite some time now, and enjoy the versatility of acrylic fine art paint
Watercolour is also a painting media that we have both utilised over time.

painting day at kiama art class at the coach house

very productive time
working with enthusiastic students
water colour
ink and pen
and iridiscent medium
          who can spell iri  irid  at this time of night

photos of group effort to be published later in week

over and out

these two little sweeties were painted and submitted for the Linden post card competition
for 2012
.... and some lovely person has the good taste to purchase them... thank you
dimensions at 15x22cm, in loverly thick impasto paint.. almost good enough to eat

for 2013, entered the form and entry fee for the comp.
shame the paintings didn't quite make it...  now what artist has never missed a deadline

painting in acrylics or watercolour  is painting.. fabulous

this image is a close up of a section in a painting to be shown at the Wallarobba House
exhibition coming up as of the 7th May this year

love the capacity to blend and merge colours in acrylic paints
the image was prompted by viewing a very very old photo of
a trip done quite some time ago, and using it as a way to describe a
chasm in sandstone

painting is done on oil painting paper and is framed under glass

still transfixed by the potential of images promoted by checking out
the countryside
image size is 12 x 9 inches in the old language

promise myself to do more figurative work, drive somewhere in the car
and voila...another representation comes to mind
